I am pretty sure I have seen this posted here with photos, but I have tried every search I can with no luck.
I am running a 30amp power line from my newly installed aux battery to the rear where I want to place an outlet. I have the wire run to the rear seats, but need to remove the panel with the storage box in the back to complete the job, and I can not figure out how to do it. Please help!
Thanks,

Hey David... it's not too bad. I had it pulled apart to put a two-way radio in the cubby box in the back.
Here's what you have to do:
1 . Fold down the rear seat backrest.
2 . Pull off the rear door weatherstripping
3 . Remove the seat belt anchor for the second row seat.
4 . Pull off the tailgate weatherstripping.
5 . Remove the support cable from the tailgate on the side you are working on. There is a little clip over the ball connector on the tailgate. Once that pops off, the cable will snap back into the car if you are not careful.
6. There is one Torx bolt near the front of the trim panel that needs to be removed.
7. Pull like crazy to release all 8 clips holding the trim panel in. There are two connectors (power outlet and audio panel, if you have it) that need to be undone.
That's it! Install in reverse order. Technically you are supposed to get a new bolt for the seat belt, but mine went back on and tightened up just fine. You need to torque it to 30 Ft Lbs.2005 LR3 HSE - ARB Bumper, Warn XD9000, Custom Rock Sliders and Skid Plates, BBS Faultmate MSV-2 Extreme, Kenwood TMD-700, etc, etc,

Thanks - I was able to get the wires where I wanted them after just removing the door trim.
I ran a power cable from my new AUX battery to the rear where I put a fuse block. From there I made the rear power outlet powered fulltime and provided fulltime power for my rear utility light and my Roof lights.David
