So today our D4 was at Guava for the air suspension fault. I couldn't face a repeat episode of the farce that is a particular main dealer in Surrey again and what a great choice I made.
Without any fuss or BS, I was greeted by a team who cared and they had me on my way again in a little over an hour following diagnosis, fitment of a new compressor (pre-ordered) and a freshly washed car.
I'm sure something else will fail, but with service like I received today I am sure I can be more forgiving.
