Falkland Islands 2013 Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 HSE Auto Aintree GreenDiscovery 4

Yes I solved it. I contacted the original owner who said they had no knowledge of the speaker being taken out. I bought a second hand dual coil speaker from a dealer on Ebay. (Can't remember who.) I connected it up and it all worked as it should.
The speaker is a special design, you can't just fit anything in there. I originally tried a test with two speakers and it didn't work
The original owner had a fleet of Discoveries, he said that the CANBUS (or whatever the computer is) will automatically detects the correct speaker and sort out so it all works. He was right.
There is one for sale here.

Good luck.
