:censored: I've just been to the stealers and looked at a MY15.. |
|
They're now doing some figures for me (doubt it'll make any financial sense to do it)
However for those that have ordered recently...
1. Estimated discount off list?
2. Extras you've managed to get included?
3. What works out the best way to spec?
I want the following:
top stereo
surround cameras
wade sensors
roof rails
leather
bluetooth and all the connected "niceties"
heated wheel (lovely half leather half wood one on the HSE lux I looked at)
park heat
adaptive xenons
heated seats
tints all round
all the nice interior and puddle lighting
not really interested in:
extended roof rails
tow pack (I can retro fit my one from the D3 or buy a D4 loom cheaper right?
leather door and dash tops
luxury mats (whoopeee like they're in any way worth it!!)
So would you spec up an SE Tech or start with an HSE or just bite the bullet and HSE Lux it?
Advice needed and I'll let you know if I go for it...
Colours wise I really liked Aintree Green and Causeway grey (seen a XXV in same colour driving locally and it's really nice) MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)

HSE Winter wheels

I think for resale value, you'd be much better starting with an HSE and adding to that, rather than having a very specced up SE Tech.
Compare that with the specification and the price of the HSE Luxury and see what sort of deal you can get.
Like you, I wouldn't personally wouldn't want a lot of the additional features of the Lux, but it could be that it's a better deal to get one. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Think I agree - got to be around that figure possibly pushing 18k purely as it's last of line with the brightwork trim on the interior, piano black trim, D4 bluetooth (they put the new modules in last of D3), recent lower arms, etc.,
Damn it's sounding like it's going to happen... will need to sit and let the excitement wear off over the weekend before I pop in Monday MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)

Manmaths, excellent Need to know how it pans out. Much as I love the D3, I'd really like to upgrade to a D4, the latest combo of the newest engine and 8 speed is a winner. Lovely thing. But ...
Need to make the numbers work. ____

Just out of interest what sort of figures are D4's?! I know the deposit will play a role in it!

Earlier today I had the "what do you think about a change of car" conversation with SWMBO. Unfortunately we won't be changing anything in the foreseeable, so I'm told.

My missus said "sod it we should do it you only live once"
She said that whilst we were out shopping though - now she's having time to think about it Monday may be different.
She asked if she can pick the colour if we do which mean Aintree Green may be out
She liked Corris (who doesn't but it's too common) and we both liked Causeway
If we wanted it, March delivery. Happy Birthday Dubbs 8) MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)

My Misses idea of 'you only live once' is a new kitchen, new double glazing and a fortnight in the Caribbean
I could live with the Caribbean, but the kitchen still produces good food and the house is as warm as ever!! So I'm negotiating a week in the Caribbean and a new D4. So far negotiations are not going well Discovery 4 HSE

Off to the BVIs at the end of the month for 2 weeks sailing around there & USVIs so maybe the old banger of a D3 will do for a while.
