cable connector in battery box?

Hi, I just changed my battery in my D4 2010 hse. Whilst out I noticed a loose connector that doesn't obviously plug in anywhere. Not sure if I dislodged it when taking the old battery out our if it was already loose. Anybody know? Hopefully the pic will upload.

No picture seen but from your description it will probably be the connector for the transit relay. This is the device they plug-in at manufacture to stop almost everything from working, yet allowing the vehicle to be moved, in order to protect the battery in storage and transit.

The device is removed at pre-delivery inspection leaving the bit on the vehicle redundant. You can stow it out of the way.
