no paperwork yet..... A plan
took out insurance on 4 feb with A plan...as of today still no paperwork arrive....should I be concerned ??
add to that tonite checked the bank account admiral have only gone and renewed me automatically...for 253 quids......a call looming in the morning me thinks

I wouldn't be concerned......just ring them and ask them to resend it, probably lost in the post. They provide a most excellent service

Admiral did the same to my Mrs for £700!

it appears A plan sent one lot that's got lost..another lot on the way....as for admiral no I didnt advise I wasn't renewing....this must be a new way of doing business.....I will get a refund in 3 to 10 days...cheecky blighters...
strangely enough last year on renewal I had to chase landrover for my documents 5 weeks after calling..

They've been doing it for a few years now. Clever trick as a lot of folks just let them continue the insurance as they are too lazy to get quotes.
I don't like them having my CC info on their system - they might have an IT savvy little scrote working for them who can steal that info Stew,

This seems to be the norm with a lot of insurance companies now, they will assume you are renewing if you dont tell them!! my house insurance documents came through for renewal last week and it said quite clearly that if I did not inform them they would proceed with the renewal, I did inform them that I had a quote nearly £400 cheaper

well the papers turned up this morning ....but the address was one digit wrong...that address is 100 yards down the road on the other side...so how did I get it..that may explain ...now they have to send another lot with the correct address etc ...as I don't want a certificate with wrong address
