tayaste, I'm sure the plate that you have for sale is the Winch Model. ie the one required for when the LR winch is fitted.
I might be wrong, but I'm sure that's why it has the two cut out sections.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

When fitting sump guard, either rays or mantec specifically for my14 onwards models, do the spats both sides under the bumper need to be removed? 3 Torx bolts each as far as I can tell. Look like they would simply get in the way off-road? Can anyone confirm removal is necessary?
Thanks

On my MY2015 I removed the spats and there is also a piece of plastic trim which needs removing. When you remove the plate and refit everything you cannot see where the plastic trim has been removed from Cheers Ian

Which bit of plastic trim?
I haven't fitted the sump guard yet, but had piece of plastic fall off at the weekend, from under there somewhere. Not the towing eye cover, that was already off. - the piece in question was about 3feet long by 3 inches or so, with four mounting "tabs" ....wonder if it's the same bit we are talking about? If so, I might not bother putting it back!

It sounds about the right size but it was attached via its full length, I had to use a multi-tool with a cutting disc to remove it Cheers Ian
