There are 4 nearly new Pirelli Scorpion tyres on ebay for £160!!
May be worth a bid, as 1 new tyre would cost almost the same as these 4.
I have tried to put the link in but not sure whether I have managed it correctly

Bought 4 Pirrelli scorpions from here per the link from Alborneboy: http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/details.pl?ID...Country=UK
Had them delivered to Dealer who fitted them at £10 a time during second service.
Sure my Wranglers had uneven tyre wear and were c 30,000 miles old, but the Scorpions are noticeably smoother and quieter. They really IMO make a massive difference on road.
Cheers for the link, c £40 a tyre cheaper than everywhere else.
If you don't go off road it has to be the scorpions. I used to hate 4x4's now I'm not so sure...

There is a link to 3% saving when buyng from My Tyres shown below
http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showthrea...ight=tyres
might be of use to some of you - the basic price from my tyres seems very reasonable anyway?

Need some tyres myself soon.
As opposed to the usual bunch of Wranglers, Pirellis, Contis;
my Beast demands to be fed something different.
Thinking on Grabber UHP's.
For a road tyre, they look more meatier [just what the butcher ordered].
Anyone have experience? ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

I didn't see a mention of the Michelin Synchrones. I have heard good things about them and have been pleased with other Michelin tires I've had. The Goodyear Wranglers are horrible, IMO! They wear unevenly on the D3 and are noisy as hell with only 12K miles on mine. I'll never buy a set of Goodyear anything.

I just put a set of Synchrones on my LR3 last week after 19K miles on the Good Years. The first major difference is the lack of road noise - I can actually hear the engine now!
