Nice write-up on the Kielder 4x4... |
|
...in this months Land Rover Monthly...
Very complimentary 6-page spread,with a couple of nice photos of Flinty99's D3.....
For anyone unaware,it's all in aid of the Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue,a very worthy cause and a very enjoyable day out...
It allows you access to tracks and areas of the Kielder forest not normally accessible to the public, with some great views.
Many on here have done it before, but I can thoroughly recommend it to anyone that hasn't "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...
Locking rear E-diff
RLD spare wheel protector & sump guard
Extended roof rails

D4 Firenze my2012 HSE
D3 Java 2005 SE manual (sold, sadly, thanks for the memories)
1966 '88 Series 2a....still starts in the morning better than I do...

That will be the article by Hils Everitt , I haven't seen it yet as nowhere around here seems to stock it, I may have to venture to the Metro Centre to try and get one. The actual article was written a few years ago so all the photos are old ones. Cheers Ian
