| Upgrading my D3 to D4 - RAC Platinum Warranty - any good |

I trading in my much loved D3 for a 2012 D4 HSE SDV6 tomorrow
The independent dealer in Chelmsford is punting the RAC Platinum Warranty at £1095 for 2 years.
Anyone had good or bad experiences with this warranty - Is is worth the paper its printed on ?

I had an RAC warranty with mine it did pay for a wheel bearing but nothing else.
the big problem was a £300 limit the dealer put on policy (it was free so he was paying)
look at policy docs closely to see what isn't covered.
warranty direct come well recomended by many on this forum but for good cover you'd be looking at approx 800-900 per year
