Bought from new in 2005, this has been an excellent family car (but you know that already!).
Selling as I'm now downsizing... to a Yeti

In the absence of any interest, I may as well add a little history if anyone's interested
Back in 2005, in the process of finding a bigger car after kid #3 came along, I had a cheeky test-drive of a D3 - cheeky because it was way out of my intended budget... And so bang went the budget...
I picked it up from Nottingham in October and never looked back... Until a few years later when I needed some cash for the house, tried to sell it on this forum, and then realised there was no point as there still wasn't an alternative that came anywhere close to the ownership experience. So I kept it (and borrowed for the house instead!).
This forum came in handy again in 2012, getting some sound advice before relocating to Morayshire, where I work from home... and now the disco isn't getting enough use to justify keeping it.
Servicing has been regular, although driven by age checkpoints rather than mileage.
It's had all the usual issues addressed over the years, and all related invoices can be inspected.
It doesn't have a tow-bar, and ergo has never towed anything. Never been properly off-road neither, although it did earn a badge at the Gordon Castle Highland Games a couple of years ago when everyone was getting bogged down in a muddy field and it never missed a beat
It's also advertised on gumtree, although (as is the common sentiment here) I'd much rather sell it to someone from the forum who actually knows and loves these cars, and also appreciates the implications of living with them on a daily basis!
