Anyone recommend a good bodyshop in the North East
I have a pair of D4 front wings and a D4 front bumper which need repainting, I got a quote from a local guy for £450 just for the painting only (though said would include some blending in with other panels e.g. doors), I will be fitting myself. To me this seems high (or am I wrong?)
Any advice on a genuine cost for this work from anyone on forum?
Also can anyone recommend a good bodyshop in the North East (who is reasonably priced)?
That's not a bad price. Also worth speaking to Graham at Joblings in Sunderland, has done stuff for me in the past at a good price.

The small independent guy I went to said he would paint them the correct LR colour for £300 if I drop the parts off, he then said he would recommend they are blended in and for this he would charge total of £450.
I just didn't think difference in the colours would be so different, I mean it's the same LR paint code. I was only expecting to pay about £300. I mean £450 is more than the cost of the actual parts

If it was me i'd pay extra for it to be blended, especially if your car is silver.D4 GS 12MY

Thanks guys!
Well today's funny story, after agreeing a price on the phone I went down to see the small independent bodyshop guy and took the parts (2 front wings and bumper), after seeing the parts and car he said he will have to increase his price for the prep and repainting of wings and front bumper to £600 which will include blending the doors (and maybe the side of bonnet but he wasn't sure). I asked why the increase and he said cos the job is bigger than he expected plus the parts are from breakers and have a few scratches and one wing has a very small dent it will take him slightly longer to prep
