Thanks so much for meeting up today so I could get a circlip, great to get to talk to another disco3 owner it's been a while in person lol.
As I mentioned the treatment I used was Turtle Wax "Black In A Flash" pic attached I got really good results with the first use repels the water and mud really well.

I will try some of the trim stuff see if it helps. I had considered buying some this and spraying them will never fade again. Its called UPOl Rapter, looked good at LRO Show.

Fitted Wow
I have fitted the new circlip today and only scuffed two knuckles , when I compared the new to old there was significant wear on several area's of the circlip.
I am pleased to say I have that like new, positive and smooth gear change back.
