My Curry hook
Have a look at my Curry Hook a couple of quid on e.bay. No worry of the bag tipping over or the seat belt alarm going. This is working really well, rotates for use in the back or the front.

Looks good - could put a plastic box underneath it to capture any spillages?

I think I would hang it behind the seat and in a stronger bag to make sure there is no spillage.

Only problem with hanging the bag behind the seat is you can't nick the prawn crackers or popadoms.

On behalf of the rest of your family. That would be a good thing.

Agree with DSL - needs to be in the front as well for easy access to Chips/Prawn Crackers
