[For Sale] Tirfor TU8 Winch Reduced £50
Hi,
had this in the car when we used to do a lot of laning and did use it a couple of times, kept it for that "just in case" it must come in handy at some stage, but no, time to sell it.
All the levers move easily and the correct cable which looks in good condition, not measured the length but there are 16 coils and each is about 1.2m so a minimum of 15m
looking on the bay of fleas to get an idea of price as no idea what I paid

dunno who told you that, the rating is the same regardless of what way it is being used.
Overload the line and you'll just break the safety shear pins when it gets to 0.8T (hence the name of the machine) - meaning it'll only let you operate in reverse to release whatever it was that overloaded it
You can double it up the same as any winch line to increase pulling power
The amount of people who think it's fine to go beyond stated SWL limits on equipment that can potentially take your head off when it all goes wrong is scary 2013 Discovery 4 HSE Lux | 2001 Defender 90 TD5 | 2007 Prodrive RB320
