As you look at it from the drivers side there was a small amount oil under the sound proofing towards the rear of the cover.

Not far from the peg.

There is a TSB to do with the inlet manifold cracking, can't remember the number, but it specifically mentioned the material being too thin.

You can see clearly if has blown there. Pull back the soundproofing and get someone to rev engine 3 thou or more. There is a foam covering also in this area. IF THE INLET HAS GONE YOU WILL SEE THE FOAM COVERING BELLOW OUT. EWW. inlet crack. Best way forward is a SMOKE test to see for sure. Will see if hose or indeed inlet crack. Think I might invest in one.

P1247, P0121, P006 errors and not the fixes on this forum?

Hi, I've got very similar error codes to what has been discussed in this forum and the symptoms are white (unburnt diesel) when starting up and particularly when cold and very rough and jerky idle / low revs.
Have done the following:
- Turbos removed and tested - fine
- Replaced all injectors
- Replaced the inlet manifolds
- Tested the MAP and MAS sensors (and replaced with donor units)
- Tested the throttle potentiometer
- Tested all the vacuum pipes and they all seem to be fine.

Yet the problem persists. I was wondering if anyone on this forum had any other avenues to try - the mechanics are about to draw a line in the sand and they've never been stumped by a D4 like this. And they are long long term Land Rover guys with tons of experience so I trust their views.

Any thoughts are welcome.
Thanks
