Big thanks to Mikey for getting my front lower arms done at short notice. I'll not go into the warranty pain with a certain Cupar dealership but DM saved the day. With an impending euro trip coming up glad its done now though.
Cheers Mike

Funny how THAT dealers has given you warranty pain,
BUT the same company further down this thread, albeit the Edinburgh branch are handing out motors for the Celtman challenge Free of charge!
I'm sure it's the staff at said branch who decide what gets done and what doesn't.
The parts guys especially Jonathon are great, will take time to talk to customers even if your only buying a 20p nut.
But the service dept = totally different attitude! unless they think your loaded, or you bought brand new from them.
If you want to pay £80-£100 per hour labour
The owner of this franchise would be appalled to hear of customer dissatisfaction, he is genuinely a nice man who has built up a very good reputation in the motoring world. Land rover,BMW Audi etc
I will be doing more work for him soon and can drop this into conversation.
I'm not a loyal customer of theirs as I get Disco Mikey to do my D3 work and myself or local village garage to do D2 D3 57 xs Stornaway grey
D2 02 commercial silver gone but a great servant and won't be forgotten

I got a nice call about customer satisfaction but have been busy this week. I think it might be worth going back to them and saying I'm not happy in this instance. Overall they have been fine although I think that the service dept might have had a shuffle about since I bought the car from them they've been great in the past. They are always helpful and polite in the norm. I agree though it seems that it's all down to who you get to make the call when warranty work is required. It's put real doubt in my mind on whether I should continue with the warranty as its due at the end of next month.

I guess dropping it into the conversation would not hurt. If they don't know what's going on they can't improve.
