I see your point and mods.
I was wondering IF there is LR OEM DAB radio unit that could replace my current 6 stack unit?

I found a DAB on ebay and thought I would give it a go as I listen to talk sport mainly.
Its installed on the rear window and then powered through the DC connector in the boot. It generates a signal that's easily picked up and programmed in to a preset on the radio. It came with a remote which allows channel selection and setup. It will also force tune another FM station when I change areas if the unit itself hasn't realised it's a poor signal (most of the time it does).
Coverage where I live is good, but when I travelled to the M4 area was around Reading though so depends where you live. Forget the Lakes
I am really pleased with the setup and it was worth the £50.

I have an Alpine aftermarket DAB standalone unit that also charges and plays the ipod etc. Connects into the existing Audio loom and is great sounding.
I purchased and aftermarket decent mag mount aerial for the roof and its faultless.

wie kan mij helpen aan de contactgegevens van deze discovery-eigenaar....ik zoek dus echt deze info en wil graag een soortgelijk systeem inbouwen.

I’ve been looking at exactly the same thing recently. Done a ton of research. There is a unit that takes out both the sat nav and the stereo, works on a Harmon kardon too. Basically replaces with something like an iPad. Very Tesla looking. All for under £650 from what I can see.
Anyway my current solution is much simpler and cheaper. I plug my mobile into the AUX and run whatever I like off my phone. Spotify, digital radio, YouTube anything. Works a treat.
Here is the link to the Tesla style if anyone is interested.
