Ok, one for the techies here. I've got an audio control module fitted in my D3. When I have the radio on AUX to listen music off my usb stick and start the engine, I hear a loud click click click noise through the speakers. It only lasts a couple seconds but then faintly in the bachground (you hear it easiest between tracks) there is a high pitch noise that follows the engine revs.
I know old cars could pick up a bit of electrical noise on the radios but I'd have thought the problem is a thing of the past on modern stuff.
I don't get the clicking or background sound on any other radio modes, just the AUX through the ACM.
Has anyone managed to cure this or know a fix to this. Many thanks. Narpy Grill, tinted windows, Smooth leather wheel (TLO Group buy), ACM fitted (thanks TLO), Rear door loom and Row 2 & 3 audio switch upgrade, RRS 20" wheel change, 285 Cooper LTZ's Sat Nav Mod (until I get a Faultmate upgrade), Front & Rear lamp guards. 4x4 screen now switched on - Woody32, Follow me home reverse lights - woody32, Auto release EPB - Woody32. Off Road Navigation - Woody32. Remap + EGR's switched off. Full chassis clean and Waxoyl.
