The good news is that the average MPG figure is no worse than my current SD4 FL2 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4
2017 to date: FFRR SDV8
2023 to date: 2 x FL2 as “second” cars 🙄
2021 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200
2022 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200 & sidecar!

Happy Days. I'm looking forward to 1st September when we collect SWMBOs MY16 and I can start relating to these woes - NOT! Well not the woes anyhow
After how many miles did it start playing up?LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Approximately about 500 miles. It is a fantastic car and Land Rover have been impeccable with dealing with it.
Five years ago I bought a Polo and within 3 miles of the dealership the engine management light came on. The difference between the way LR have dealt with it and the way VW dealt with it has been night and day.
So big thumbs up to LR.

We bought it in the Northwest and drove it the 200 miles home and it averaged 31mpg at 70mph on that run. I take it they over read?

They do indeed but it can be corrected with an IID I understand.
