I used some crc plasticoat. Make sure you cover the contacts when spraying ecu and give another coat to the out side of the plugs once assembled. Idea

What about using dielectric grease in the connectors, i'm sure that would maintain some semblance of waterproofing to the connectors and avoid corrosion?
And if so does anyone have recommendations for a good dielectric compound?

Hi caverD3, I am about to replace the TCCM ECU with a second hand one from some wreckers in Devon and was wondering how effective the CRC Plasticoat has been?

No problems since but has not been really tested. I am careful when I pressure wash the engine bay now.
I only spayed the outside of the case but if I was replacing it I would open the case and spray the whole circuit board.
Make sure you put masking tape over the contacts first. Idea

Hi caverD3, thanks for your response. I note that they no longer make Plasticote 70.

Hi caverD3, thanks for your two responses. I thought you had opened up the case, but it must have been someone else.
