MY14+ mirror compatibility |
|
Anyone know, or in a position to test, if current MY14 onwards mirror caps are the same part as Range Rover sport mirror caps???? both have the cutout for the indicator lens, wondered if the top, painted, caps are actually the same part?

A parts department would be able to tell you.

They are different part numbers. LR019961 and LR019962 for the D4, LR060312 and LR060313 for the new RRS.

I used a set from the new FFRR, so yes, the mirror caps fit. And if anyone is wondering, the glass from RRS/FFRR fits in the 2016 D4 mirror housing too.
Just need to figure out how to wire up the auto dimming function. Anyone?

That's useful info thanks.
Now I'm wondering if discovery sport versions are also compatible....

To close this off, in case anyone searches for this in future, that discovery sport caps are not interchangeable with D4 - as indicator is moved from integrated into cap to be integrated into lower mirror body.
Also evoke mirror caps are not interchangeable, nor is anything from current jaguar crop...I have done some "exhaustive" research with local parts man!!
