8th July - Lots - with Disco3.co.uk stickers

The Mrs and I were out with the dog up on the moor near Fox House, when a lot of D3's came past. Looked like you were all having fun. Spotted Disco3.co.uk stickers on a couple of vehicles, so decided to see what I could find out, and ended up here Very Happy

You were obviously on this http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic11487.html trip.

If only I'd found this site earlier, I'd have loved to have joined you!

Our black D3 was just out of shot to the right of the photo on the top of the page http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic11487-150.html

Yes it was us!. Next time you are more than welcome. I'm not sure when it will be yet, but keep an eye on the events section.

I remember seeing your D3 parked over the road. Thumbs Up

Thats me jumping out of the D3. Were you parked just off Ringinglow Road then? I thought I saw another D3 as I pulled out onto the road having been freed Whistle Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Yes. I often turn round where you got stuck, and park in the layby opposite.

I haven't tried to go through that mud hole, as I have seen numerous vehicles stuck in it over the last few months, and when we are walking the dog, we don't have anyone to help shoudl the inevitable happen!!

If we head onto that moor, we usually head up from Sheephill Road, or Fox House 8)

Fortunately the bomb hole can be avoided by completing the lane all the way across from the Fox to a point nearer Sheffield on Ringinglow Road - I think if we run this again before next summer (assuming a dry summer next year Rolling Eyes ) we should do this
