Pete now trying to tell me off for copying his reply to this section..... saying its inappropriate !
I can't see how its inappropriate for me to share my mail with whoever I want !
I DO think its inappropriate that LR charge twice as much as citroen/peugeot for the same part though!

It is absolutely inappropriate to share a PM on the forum without the consent of the other party. A private message is just that ...private. In publishing it here you have undermined that principle so it has been removed.21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

To be honest, if I represented a large manufacturer, I would be perfectly happy for anything I wrote about regarding that manufacturer, to be viewed publicly
After all, there should be nothing to hide.
It would be different if it was secret or confidential information, but surely the whole purpose of this forum is to share information regarding Landrovers and Discoverys, to the benefit of the drivers/consumers
As previously mentioned, I do find it highly offensive and inappropriate that Landrover charge twice the price of Citroen/Peugeot for the same Ford Oil pump in the box, and I have yet to receive a good explanation as to why this is.
In any case, I apologise if I have offended Pete@Landrover or anyone else.
I still remain offended at the price of a Genuine Land Rover Discovery Oil Pump (which is actually a Ford part in the box)
I wonder whether I will get any explanation or apology from Landrover for the price of a Genuine Land Rover Discovery Oil Pump (which is actually a Ford part in the box).....

This practice is commonplace, I remember looking at a suspension sphere from a Bentley (genuine part in Bentley branded packaging) and guess who the part was made by...Yup, our good old French friends, Citroen. there were the mighty chevrons, embossed onto the sphere. 3 Flash Indicators
