Phoned them today as my wipers are driving me crazy . Wanted to know if I could bring the car in for the wipers and brake lights sometime. Was expecting to be told I would have to make an appointment , but they came back to me within five minutes saying that they didn't have wiper blades in stock but had arranged a buy out from their other branch and if not too inconvenient for me they would have it ready by 3 pm today .
Even BMW always required me to make a booking first

Heine,
Are they giving you the new spec wipers? Mine are also driving me batty and have been replaced twice already. My car is due for a service and I want them to change the wipers again but not if I get the old spec blade. Let me know , if you can, whether they gave you the new spec, and more importantly if they make any noise.
Thanks
Rob
