Thanks all,

So I am looking at Warranties.

Should I be looking at removing any clause e.g. Betterments etc...

We don't off road as such occasional tracks and fields. So no real issues there.

So my next question - Warrantywise or Warranty Direct?

Regards

Warranty Direct Thumbs Up

Search these very forums for opinions on WarrantyWise. You will find they are not held in the highest regard

WD have authorised claims for me on the spot, at the side of the road Thumbs Up

Many thanks for all your replies.

Looks like WD are the preferred company.

Will play the telephone game and wait.

May have to take up a night course on mechanics Rolling with laughter

You want it cheap (plead poverty) plus airbags and emissions, no betterment, 13 months for 12, club discount, dealer rates, 15,000 per year (or higher if you can haggle it) and anything else anyone else can suggest. Thumbs Up

PS ExtraCare as a minimum, don't drop down to SecureCare. And if you want to keep that level for a fixed time consider pushing for two or three years. Thumbs Up

WD are good. Just ensure your mechanic speaks with them in the right terminology and you should be fine. I dont use them anymore but they historiclly paid out for every claim... egr, bearing, alternator and a few other bits and pieces like lower wishbones

I got my moneys worth for the three years.
