WOODY179 - HSE TDV6 Discovery

Ordered my replacement Discovery on Saturday. I was looking at three colours, Buckingham Blue, Cairns Blue and Zambezi Silver in the end I chose the Silver with ebony interior, thought this combination looked really well on the Discovery 3. Just had a phone call from my dealer and they've got the car already Razz and I should be able to take delivery by the end of the week. Very Happy The car is the 2006 model with privacy glass and tow pack. Im also having the side steps and rubbing strips fitted. Cant wait.

Best of luck with it. It loooks well with the side steps. They make it easier to get in and out of and they are a great defence against women in multi story carparks who tend to open doors with all their strength when parked next to shiny new cars.

I just need a large rectangle of Polystyrene as a bouyancy aid for the front, to stop it dipping quite so far below the water line.

Picked the new Discovery up at lunch time today Very Happy Fitted the mudflaps from my previous car onto it and also fitted the windscreen ticket holders (again removed from my previous car). The ticket holders only take a few minutes to fit and the mudflaps didnt take that long either - approx 5mins per wheel (you can just fit the mudflaps without removing the wheels. Also noticed that the pre heat and pre cool options had been removed from the settings menu.

Thanks for that Simon, I'll ask them next time I visit if they can re-enable these options for me.
