Mobile Phone Log In help needed

Any suggestions to fix this. Everything has worked fine for 2 years!

Username and password works fine if I log in via the PC.

When I try to use the same on the mobile I get a message that the same user name or password is incorrect.

Have tried resetting the password usining both PC and Mobile - the PC lets me do this but the Mobile still tells me the username or password is incorrect ! Big Cry

Make sure you are using EXACTLY the right username (not email) and password. No errant spaces, correct case for password etc.

Some phones like to auto fill information that is actually wrong. Delete what it puts in and type in from scratch.

If the site is coming back with that error (username/password wrong) then either or both of those are wrong when being sent to the site to log you in.

Let me know how you get on Smile

User name and password are correctly spelt - no spaces and I have retyped them and not used the stored ones.

The mobile won't let me try again now for 30 minutes but I am still logged on to the PC so can reply to you. Thumbs Up

In that case your phone is mucking something up after you type in the correct details and submit.

The site won't reject the correct login details for no reason.

I will have to wait the 30 minutes and try again - have cleared the cache and removed the history so if it doesn't work soon on the mobile I think the phone will be seeing the bottom of my shoe.

Its the first Samsung phone I have had and will be the last - its just coming up to the end of its 2 year contract and it now has a battery life of around 4 hours on stand by (as does the new replacement battery which was supplied a few weeks ago) Thumbs Up

I have now logged out from the PC and logged back in using the same user and passwords and not a problem.

The mobile however is showing I am locked out again due to 3 incorrect tries ! Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry

Spelling is 100% correct - upper lower case etc

Not saying this is the solution in this case as it's different software but a member had this issue on my forum and the problem was solved by a new password, never did find out what caused it.

Something is interfering with login. Either autocomplete/ auto fill of username/password (switch this off or clear the data for the site) or some kind of browser add on. Both are outside my control.

Are you logging in using disco3.co.uk or disco4.com?

Whichever you use, try the other. Not that it makes any difference from this end (code and database are the same) but any interference from your phone may be only on the one you normally use.

Logging in on Disco3.co.uk - will try Disco4

I have reset the password by using the PC and reset it to the previous password and it has accepted that (didn't tell me I couldn't use one fro the past)

I will try to reset via the mobile again and pick a different password and see if that works Thumbs Up

That will make no difference. Don't bother.

Your phone is, I think, putting in a different password for you after you type it in. It will still do that no matter how many times you change it.

I was half way through changing the password when that came in so have left it as it was.

Will spend more time on trying to delete whatever its holding in the phone memory and try again later.

Thanks for help up to now. Thumbs Up
