My Black HSE
Hello All.
I've been an avid reader of the techy stuff on this forum for ages.
After a few years of owning a 3.0 Audi Allroad, I've recently bought the car in the photo.
I wanted something a bit more capable of pulling the Tin Tent.
Hope you like it.
Now, who's gonna put in the remote end of the FBH for me?
Greetings
Ian

Very nice 8) Looking at your location you're quite close to me so will keep an eye out for you The fitting of the FBH remote is dead easy, I got mine from Dan at Duckworths, takes about 15 minutes to fit and then I enabled it with my Nanocom Cheers Ian

Hi. Looks like mine I am picking up on Saturday. Are you happy with your choice ? Black on black can make it look a bit more of a block than it already is- some that are grey with black pack shows off more detail- I'm a bit nervous as I've never had a full black car!!
Also, does timed heating come as standard??

I love mine, the ONLY down side is that it's a to keep clean - and I like it spotless.
Timed heating was standard on mine, but I recently asked BODSY to fit Remote kit (whilst in Cheshire). Excellent upgrade.

If you like it spotless your heart will be broke with it, nightmare to keep clean.

I always said I would never have a black car (currently drive an Evoque in black) but I got a good deal so thought it wise to take the hit on colour!!
I've read timed heating is standard but when I asked Landrover directly they said it's an option!! I can't get a clear answer and lots of conflicting info ( I know remote timed is an option)

Isn't the remote timer a bit pointless? i.e on a cold morning your engine is stone cold, therefore no heat? Or does the little diesel heater burn away with the engine off?

When you press the button on the remote the FBH starts up without the engine running and chugs away for 20 minutes or so and when you jump in to go to work etc the car is defrosted and the heater is blowing warm, so for me definitely not pointless Cheers Ian
