She has gone to a good home via defender2.net.
I will miss the Defender, but time to move on. My very first Discovery, but a long history of Land Rover ownership - Series IIa, 3, lightweights, forward control, 90s and a Defender, and of course a classic Range Rover.
Let's see how long it is before I buy another Defender?

Picked it up yesterday. Really enjoyed the drive back.
Bad news though, first trip back to the dealership being planned - there is a defect in the paint on the tailgate.
Off for a good run in it today.
