Well, I was back in the same pub as last year with the same great people, but now back at home with family, drinking a few beers and waiting for our kebabs to be delivered courtesy of the just eat app.

Attended local carol service followed by an after carol drink party at a new friend's place which was full of all the people we've got to know since moving this year. Then up the road to a pop up bar hosted in the cafe we normally frequent whose owner is a thoroughly nice chap and I've come to get on with quite well.

After seeing even more new friends there we have eaten the slow cooked lasagne we put on and have got kids to bed and presents sorted. Heading off to bed shortly.

Night all and merry xmas

Ukraine 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 S Manual Zambezi SilverDiscovery 3

Earlier we put out the mince pies, carrots and whiskey for Santa and the reindeers, followed by sending each of my daughters Christmas wish list to Santa via the log burner. I've now just finished the annual Christmas book with my youngest daughter. We start it on the 1st December and read a few pages every night until the 24th December.

All is now quiet so have now opened a very fine Barolo and I will soon be cuddling up on the sofa with my wife. Life is pretty good. Thumbs Up

Merry Christmas all. Very Happy

Thanks for the goods wishes, just been updated and its not a bad as first thought. In basic terms he's had a chest infection that quickly spread to the muscles surrounding the heart, which became enlarged thus restricting the normal operation of the heart. He's been monitored for the past 24 hours whilst on anti-inflammatory meds & signed off sick for the next month, with no physical activities. No permanent damage done so it's looking positive Thumbs Up

Been to the pub with wife and kids, and on for a curry.

Watched vicar of Dibley which always make me smile.

Looking forward to seeing what the big man brings.

Glad Heath DA's lad is back home.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas.
