During the course of trying to resolve issues with my car the Lancaster service manager promised, on several occasions to call me back. Never did, well, not without lots of chasing.
The screw jack failed and said service manager promised to send me a replacement by courier. Ended up collecting it.
Don't go there any more.

I certainly don't feel like letting them loose with my D3 again, but I do wonder whether another dealer would be prepared to rectify another dealerships poor paintwork. Really I feel that after 1 bad attempt at rectifying bad factory paintwork, I should be asking that they replace the panel with a new ready painted one from the factory, What do you think is reasonable?.......And sorry Shainy I'm not hijacking your thread, this is still about LANCASTER and SHODDY OUTFIT...

DND3 - speak to LR Customer Service and explain your thoughts on Lancaster. They may well let you chose another dealer or offer to help you out. Worth an ask if you haven't already.

This is in fact what I did several weeks ago, I decided then to let Lancaster have another go at it ,(not likely now), L/R Cust Service person said I'll get them to call you.........and.....NO RESPONSE......from either Lancaster or L/R Cust Service............All in all Pretty Damn Poor in my view, and I have to say, that I have never been disrespectful to any dealership people or Cust Service personnel, not even raised my voice at them yet.(Perhaps that is the problem)..

Just had an e-mail from the sales manager of Lancaster Reading saying they will source me a vehicle like my one ie mileage and colour..
Also they will extend the exchange term till end of september as there should be more cars available then.
I mailed them back stating that it should be a one owner vehicle and the spec should be the same ie. Privacy glass sidesteps and tv as those were my terms before I agreed a sale, otherwise they will have to show a reduction in the price.
Also the exchange term should be till they find me a car.
Why did I do it.?..A moment of madness I guess..I thought trust was a very important commodity.
Lets see what happens...
