Yes, the volume is a pain, it only responds to dabs on the button, it appears not give a continuous gain in volume if you hold the button down.
I believe that the infotainment upgrade (on the Land Rover GTR site) changes the way the rear outputs work, it give the impression that it stops the CD player working all time when there are no headphones plugged in. Its a bit vague on its description.

That's a great idea, it is annoying when discs keep changing whilst you are listening to the radio, because the kids used earphones 3 weeks ago

i have had my disco 3 for nearly a week now and i have just spent the last hour and a half on the drive trying to get the voice command to do as i ask.
Well what a waste of time everything i ask, it just says SORRY. I have tried the command for radio, cd, navigation and it just keeps saying SORRY. I have spoken the exact words as in the manual but it does nothing.
Can anyone help as too what i am doing wrong. I have not got a accent that is hard to understand so whats the PROBLEM
Cheers Shawn
hi all
well where do i start as you can see from above i was having problems with the voice recognition system and guess what after 4 months and 8 visits to the dealer totalling 14 days without my vehicle its still not fixed.
i still cannot get it to store a name and number or dial a number via voice control. i am at my wits end now last week the car was in for 3 days got it back and still the same not working. the dealer is sound and the service manager is a great chap he says they have tried everything and replaced all the parts so whats the problem
i have spoken to LCS and they said i must keep going back to the dealer i have worked out it has cost me £40 in fuel and put 200 miles on my car just getting it to the dealer and back. i don,t think my car is fixable so what shall i do, it bugs me when i spent nearly £400 on a phone kit that i can not use properly
