Since I got 8 GRAND off the advertised selling price I thought the steps, flaps and mats deal ok
Basically the heated steering wheel, fridge and black interior trim and black pack free plus a £4.5k discount from Landrover. I feel happy....
And there's no way I'd be slightly interested in fitting anything myself, lol. eBay has never been that kind to me either! (Warning, girl here, not going to be crawling about under a brand new car sticking screws in myself!)
Interesting on the Kaikoura vs Nara, haven't had the chance to put my current Nara against the new one. I could hardly tell the difference if I'm honest.*now enjoying* D5 Namib Orange HSE 68

Picking my Landmark up tomorrow and got 14% of list price but they did have the car I wanted and were needing to sell 2 cars on the 31st March to hit some sales target "UNDERSTEER" ---is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" -is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" ------------is how far you take the fence with you.

No I could not see a lot of difference until I put them next to each other. But there is a subtle difference, still think it is one of the best colours and looks 8) polished or dirtyMY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

Very very nice, but agree with previous comments, I paid £99 for full genuine rubber mats and £100 for full genuine mud flaps, makes the side steps £800?

I assume the fitting is not free and labour is in there...
I'm sure you all got good deals, I was happy with mine since steps are usually a £700 option anyway, please stop telling me how little you paid lol.*now enjoying* D5 Namib Orange HSE 68

Sidesteps are £950 inc vat fitted at the dealers alone so you got a good deal and a great looking car , ebay and aftermarket isnt always the way , I like original gear too but cant budget for it yet .
Hope you enjoy it as much as I have mine wish I could have all the extras they make it complete .
If we bought everything off eBay we would all be driving these

Ta - they also held my trade in price despite me putting nearly 2k miles on it, and pricing a dent I have at £500 despite my body shop saying it was a £1800 job, so I've been happy with my deal!

I read a comment elsewhere on the forum about the '5 years servicing'.
I bought the package, but it was made clear to me its the first 4 services however quick they are needed UP to 5 years. So since I'm a 20K a year person that's basically three years of servicing to me roughly. I'm not sure that's a very good advertising strapline as a result!
I've never bought a new Disco before, always went for one 3-4 years old. But the maths and warranty plus servicing deal means this is a pretty attractive option to go for new.*now enjoying* D5 Namib Orange HSE 68

I have the 5 year service plan, but like you, due to my mileage will only get 3 (but I know this would be the case), but its still a good deal. Typical dealer service is £400+, so 3 x that = 1200 quid, compared with service pack at £699.
