Persistent P0101
Hi Guys,
My D3 has blanked EGRs, an RS200 intercooler and BAS EGR emulators. I've removed the butterfly etc. Is there any reason why any of these modifications should be triggering a consistent P0101 error code or should I be trying to diagnose it? i.e. replacing the MAF sensor?
It's also had a BAS remap, 163000m on the clock but seems to drive normally. I did have an ongoing issue with one of the charge pipes that kept popping off the IC but to my surprise hair spray did the job on that!
Any suggestions/ comments would be gratefully received!
Thanks,

They're plugged into the EGR plugs on either side.
I've just checked live values of the MAF - at idle (800rpm) it's 20g/s then goes upwards to 80-90 as I rev it but it's cold so I don't want to max it out.-------------------------------------------------------------------

Mmm, the right hand emulator is spliced into the MAF loom for power - could this make a difference?-------------------------------------------------------------------

Move it to the 12v battery, clear your codes and see how you go

Great, thanks, will try it! I can pretty much exclude this from the hissy fit that she threw last weekend which required about 20 restarts on the way back from Dorset, then...-------------------------------------------------------------------

Unfortunately I agree, the 20 restarts will be unrelated. Let us know how you get on when you move the 12v feed for the emulators with the P0101 code
