spongy brakes after body removal

Hi all. The body was off my D3 for about a month, with the brakes disconnected in that time. I have bled the brakes by hand, and there appears to be no air coming from the bleed valves. However, the brakes are still very spongy, and not safe to use. I'll be re-bleeding them tomorrow, but just wonder if there is some other procedure that I need to carry out? The reservoir was empty, as the open lines allowed all the fluid to fall out (twice).
 Regards, Will Church

You need to get the brakes bled using a diagnostic computer routine such as autologic, MSV2 or IID Tool to get the air out of the master cylinder Thumbs Up

The diagnostic equipment will bleed the abs modulator by running the pump.

A tip is, when removing the brake pipes, make up some small pipes with the ends blocked off ( soldered over is a good way). Then the fluid can stay in the body side of the system and can be bled normally without getting too much air in due to the system draining put.

Regards
Steve
