Side steps going on tomorrow...lost some sleep over the cost
Couple of observations...
1/ Just done the 1st 1k miles...Tank range gone from 400 to 470 when brimmed
2/ adblue tank...my T4 Touareg ate adblue for breakfast..any feedback on adblue consumption?...does it manage to go service to service?
3/ Is this the beginning of some new (LR) obsession for me? think so

I had my first service done by 14,000 miles, rather than 16,000. I had to add another 10 litres before the first service and by the time it went in for service, the meter said that it only had about 2,300 miles left in the AdBlue tank - probably 1,400 miles in real life! Mind you, 10 litres of AdBlue were only £11 on the Morrisons forecourt and it was no more difficult than filling the washer reservoir, so I'm not worried!2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

LR told me just to pop by and they would fill the Adblue up FOC between services. I did buy the service plan though.*now enjoying* D5 Namib Orange HSE 68

Sounds like a decent dealer... I bet most would charge you for topping up adblue...
I have also purchased the 5 year service plan @ £699

I have the service plan and the sales people promised the same thing. When I spoke to the service department, they knew nothing about it!
I then worked out that it would cost me more in fuel for the round trip than it would to buy the AdBlue!2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

Dealer is only 5 miles from me but if it's pennies that might be the case, will have to look!

I'm glad I don't live so close to my nearest LR dealer; that could be very expensive! 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

Only got this one image of my iphone... don't tell me these are aftermarket side steps
Is there a way of knowing you have genuine LR steps? part no somewhere on them?
What is it you want to see? and I will take a picture close up

If you buy from a LR Dealer they should be genuine as Dealers aren't permitted by LR to fit after market.
If you have a Service Pack any LR Dealer should do the AdBlue top up free of charge.

Looking good, I'm going to put the side tubes on mine. I was quoted £774 fitted by my dealer. I'm all for genuine accessories but the prices over the last couple of years have just went through the roof, though the good thing if fitted within a month or 1000 miles of purchasing the car they are covered by the 3 year warranty.

Still waiting for my LR Experience voucher to drop on the mat...any idea how long it normally takes from when you drive off the forecourt with your shiny new Discovery?
I have even paid to do the Solihull experience on Thursday just to keep me sated... hope it stays wet
