Rev counter fluttering when crushing on motorway |

Hi guys needs some advice my reg counter keeps fluttering when I am just doing a steady speed. Will a good gear box flush and new gear box oil if not can anyone offer me more advice

if it changes by about 200 rpm when under load like going uphill it could be the lock up clutch in the torque converter you ma also get a bit of juddering on acceleration . if so get torque converter changed asap as if you leave too long you may have a bigger job on. http://www.bristoltransmissions.co.uk/home/..... i found this company reasonable in price and good service.

Depending on milage and if you have any other problems a flush may cure yours I'm up in your area on the 30th of this month
What milage do you have on your veh ?

I went to get mine looked at yesterday and he said certain sign of t/c on its way is rev fluctuations at steady speeds.

Against the cost of a replacement box I would try the flush first depending on mileage as Geoff says.
