Rear diff input seal leaking
I was laying under my discovery the other day a noticed it was wet around the rear diff input seal. Wasn't dripping just looked wet with oil. I have just signed up to do the Land Rover convoy from lands end to John O'groats in July, so the truck will be getting a service before that.
How easy is it to do that seal? I have done searches and can find any info on that seal and few output seals leaking but no input.Tonga Green D3

Got this issue on SWMBO's D3, LR want to replace the whole diff unit, local indie wanted to top it up with oil
Basically nobody wants to actually take the diff out and replace the seal
I've solved this problem for the next 3 years at least though.......I've ordered her a brand new D4 Landmark
