Advice needed please before I pull my hair out

Hello

Our disco 3 is knocking hard lock left and right. was told poss cv joint, so booked it in with our local specialist who said poss diff. Sad

Any thoughts. It doesn't whine while going in a straight line or on lock and it doesn't knock while in a straight line either

Cheers

steve

A single knock each way on full lock, or continuous knocking?

It is fairly common, though likely wouldn't be caused by driving through heavy rain.

I assume no other worn suspension bushes etc were found on the MOT?

No suspension bushes were all good. if they weren't would that make the rear wheel judder?

Just thought I'd update this - You were right, Mike. After meeting up with Steve and carrying out a quick transfer box clutch calibration all is well. Thumbs Up
