Disco 3 - SRS Illuminates - Error code B1211

Hi
Struggling with a troublesome SRS lamp.

With Nanocom, getting fault code B1211 Driver safety belt retractor Pretensioner deployment Control (Permanent)

When I delete fault codes the SRS lamp extinguish for 1 sec before it's dings and the lamp is on again.

Does not look as if the fault lies in the belt tensioner, have measured resistance and with ignition off reading about 2.4 ohms. Measures on both sides of the connector under the seat and I get the same value on both sides, so gues the socket is in order too.

With connector under seat disconnected and "short circuit pin" intact reading 0.2 ohm. With contact disconnected and "shorting pin" taken off, reading constant 2.4 ohms.

With ignition on I measured ohms from 2.4 down to 1.9 over short cycles, no idea if this is normal (but the same thing happens on the opposite side too, where I have no error on the belt tensioner).

Some tips on how I should troubleshoot further?

It's a LHD disco

Thanks a lot for tips;-)

a flash of SRS ECU did the trick. SRS lamp gone.

Had two alternative, dismantle interior to look for wire break or try with new software to the ECU. Chose the least arduous and for once that was the way to go...Wink Nice
