Just carried out my first annual service (I have the time now I'm retired) 
Getting the old fuel filter off was a challenge - top was heavily corroded and looked as if it had been there for several years  but managed to get it changed after quite some effin and jeffin.
Bled the fuel line at the schrader valve, all seems OK. Have been out for a tes run and she happily trots up to 80 mph no issues.
Now I am aware of a buzzing / high frequency humming from the OS rear wheel arch when switching the ignition on - noise lasts for about 15 secs and changes pitch during that time. Is this the in-tank fuel pump ?? Have I missed something in the process and am just setting myself up for a future problem 
Advice from those more knowledgeable than I would be appreciated
