Hi, I'm looking for some help with my turbo noises.
2006/7 56 tdv6 automatic.
My turbo very suddenly started making a wizing noise that goes up and down in volume and pitch with the revs.
It sounds like those annoying wiz whistles :/
It's been like it for around 5k miles with no noticeable loss in power, no use in oil, no smoke black or otherwise and the exhaust isn't leaking.
Inlet manifold pressure values are very similar to another d3 I checked when I was first investigating this.
I'm certain I have no leaks in the intercooler piping and removing the intake pipe (air box to turbo) increases the volume. I'm 100% sure it's the turbo, and if the noise wasn't so embarrassing when driving through town I'd ignore it longer than I have
