The car gets better mpg when it gets warmer. First thing to look at is wheel temp from binding brakes.

Ye Deano I understand that but set my tyres every Saturday morning from cold and always do full to light on as but a few quid in is a waste as just live in the fuel station.

My 59 plate as always said 369 miles for the 80 quid , however I only do 14 mile on weekdays so carrying 80 kilos of fuel makes no sense so I carry what I need then put what im gonna neeed at the weekend .
Ps dont forget its based on driving style for the previous miles so returning to normal style will add some extra Laughing

LR service specified air filter change every 3 years/45k miles (or combo), way too long an interval. Do you have the air filter listed on the service invoice? If not for the small cost involved worth changing anyway. The phrase "full service" is meaningless without seeing what was actually done cf the service schedule. http://www.disco3.co.uk/gallery/albums/use...ervice.pdf

when My MPG dropped it was a sticking caliper. to be honest the wheels didn't particularly feel much different from side to side but the IR Thermometer showed it up

does sound like a binding brake, the pads may just need a clean or perhaps the pins are sticky

Estimating fuel consumption from "range" is hardly accurate.

I suggest that every time you fill the tank you "brim" it, and calculate the MPG from the mileage covered when you next brim the tank.

My 2009 D3 manual, with Pete Bell's remap & using Castrol Actevo has done 24.7 MPG over the last 79.5k miles.

The fuel consumption gradually improved over the first 50k miles, and has now plateaued at 24.7 overall, and varies from 31 to 22.4 depending on season & use. I drive fairly hard most of the time, but don't brake heavily. Oil & filter change every 6k miles, air filter every 18 months.
