Wasn't for one moment doubting you Geoff.
Just can't understand why. I'm still thinking my theory that they been machined down is a possibility.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

As daft as this might sound, you could be OK with the V8 brakes, as on the pre06 FFRR 19's, it was only on TDV6 brakes that they foul. On the V8, as the capliers are slighter further out, the wheels fitted OK. It was all down to the inner casting shape as it got down towards the center of the rim.

Sorry to post on an old thread but did the OP ever get this sorted? I have a set of wintrak 4's on these rims from my old L322 and wanted to use them on my D4 and most people seem to think they are fine but the odd post suggests they may not be.
Thanks.

I can only repeat my earlier posts, myself and many others have used these rims without any issues on both D3's and D4's.
Just make sure that they're not the earlier six spoke version which similar in appearance. From memory it was the 2006 model onwards of FFRR when they fitted the D3.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

agreed, 06 to 08MY ISTR. Used them for a few years myself when running MTRs. Only negative is they are slightly lower weight rated, I didn't worry about it but some peeps might. If in doubt check with your insurer.

My mud plugging days were over, plus the price of used MTRs was strong as GY had stopped making them with no replacement in sight.

I have 2 sets of those wheels, both have been used on my discovery 3 for years without any issues. Used them with standard and V8 brakes.

Thanks for the updates. I have the 7 spoke 19" version as they were from my 2008 FFRR.
