Well another little job completed today.
New tailgate actuator fitted due to the old one becoming lazy. Nice easy job if anyone is considering doing it. - Mine hadn't completely failed, so i didn't have to break into the tailgate with it closed.

Got the brake pad warning indicator up.
New disks, pads, sensor etc on order so they will go on once received.
I'm going to have a bash myself this time.

Well today I completed the front disks and pads, and put a new wear sensor on.
First time I have ever done my own brakes and found it all straight forward. I followed Bodsy's brake bible, and watched a few YouTube videos to get my head around it first.
Been out for a drive today and all seems well. Just need to gently bed the new disks and pads in now.
I did have to remove a little brake fluid, but think it was because I recently had my fluid changed, so assume they toppped it up to the max mark.
Nice straight forward job for anyone thinking of having ago themselves.

D4 got treated yesterday to a Geoff gearbox flush, and new rear disks and pads.
EPB is now working correctly again
Haha, hopefully not for a while!!It was you who gave me the confidence to give it a bash, so thanks for that
Not sure if you remember my Timed Climate wasn't working. Well it was a CCF setting which was incorrect.
It's been working well up until tonight, when I set it to come on after the fireworks. Got in, nothing Something to look at tomorrow!!

Few changes and bits done to the car recently.
Last week, I had the 7 year service completed which was expensive, but good that's it's done. It also came back with a clean bill of health from the dealers, so that was pleasing!
I also managed to acquire a Mk2 Prospeed roofrack to match my Prospeed ladder which I already had.
It came with 2 brand new floor sections, so I set about putting them on as well. I haven't used it yet, but it's ready now!
I also managed to acquire a LR cargo deliver a few months back, so that's now fitted as well.
I need to get my ladder shot blasted and resprayed as the paint is starting to flake, so that's a job on the list to get sorted.

Over the last couple of days, I've had to have a new windscreen fitted due to a large chip / crack, and then an MOT.
MOT initially failed due to a smearing wiper blade. Its an irritating fail as I had purchased a new set of wipers to have fitted with the new screen, but they were the incorrect fitment. The autoglass tech said the wipers were fine anyway. Anyway, screen fitted at 19:00 and MOT 13 hours later, so no time to change wipers!
Got the dreaded brake pipe "slightly" corroded as an advisory and rear brakes pitted or scored which is also annoying as the rear brakes were only replaced towards the end of last year!

Cheers Paul. I'm interested in raptor, but need to try and find someone local to do it.
I enquired with Prospeed and they came back with a reasonable price, but the postage to and from them killed it really.
I very much like the bracket you had added to yours for a rear work light as well.
It's on the list, just need to find somewhere to get the finish sorted etc. Raptor would be ideal

I started to intermittently get the only normal height available warning message pop up
So today, I’ve had a new compressor put in.
Another job done, that seems to be common! Thankfully the warranty covered this. Bill came to £953.
