Lack of grunt

Hi all

I've noticed that my 06 Disco 3 107k seems to lack some grunt mid to top rev range. It seems to happen more when its up to temperature or on a longer journey. It's by no means undrivable but I'm sure there is a differnce between certain journeys I've made recently.

Doing a quick search I want to say EGR's but if anyone has any suggestions that would be great

Mike

I would get the cheap egr blank kits from ebay as a start, then you are into maf and fuel pump checking territory.
Egr blank kit easy enough to fit.

No black smoke and I've just had a new high pressure fuel pump if that gives anyone any ideas.

Exactly what I seem to get Jaime, not sure if the recent weather has had anything to do with it hot one day cold the next? With what I believe is a relatively small intercooler on a D3 could air temp have a big affect?

I have also noticed a noise when lifting of the accelerator which I can only describe as a rattle/hiss. I will go check the hoses when I get a chance

Thanks for the help all
