Fuel Filter change

I'm trying to perform the simple task of changing the diesel filter on a 2005 Rolling Eyes

How do you release the connections ?

Leaver out the coloured bits ? push them in ? just pull the connector off ?

Thanks

Push the coloured bits in, push the connector down slightly, then lift up. Thumbs Up

Squeeze in the buttons on either side and pull it off carefully. I can never remember which, but there is always one that is easiest to get at first, and then the others become easier to get at. I reach through the wheel arch for access. Thumbs Up

Thanks very much. Changed now.

Is there a bleed procedure I should follow?

I did it without going thru the bleed screw.

put the key in position I for 5 or 6 times and the engine fired up without hesitation
