i bought from advanced factors and they sent me 6-8mm pipe, im changing the rear air struts/ bags.

they don't sell 10mm but having spoken to them they are getting some in.

apparently nobody ever bought any.

they have saved me a fortune compared to buying over here.

in switzerland compressors are 900 to 1200chf

in france was quoted €1200

i got 2 air bags a compressor and the pipes (almost all) and the bolts nuts and fittings delivered for about same amount.

so genuine thanks to Ian.

If you need one quicker than AF can get one to you try a local parts factor that supplies HGV parts they should have one in stock, they are pretty common on truck air brakes and are not expensive.

If you have to connect the pipes try and get the push fits that have built in tube supports as much better quality.

Ok, thought id give a quick update.

Advanced factors now sell the 10mm pipe.

I managed to get the compressor in and fitted without too much trouble, however the 10mm pipe is a bit difficult to bend so if you cut it do so trying to leave as much as you can so no short piece to bend.

I also managed to change both rear airstruts this was actually fairly straight forward and comparatively easy.

The third nut at the back is fairly difficult to get at but patients and flipping the spanner around so small fractions of a turn but its not bad, I did however notice that when i dropped the spare wheel down later on you can get good access to the third bolt.

Well i was chuffed and happy until the car still sank over night! a lower rate and more even but still sank.

i bit the bullet having gone this far defeat was not going to be an option and bought the rear vale block well actually i bought all three, as found a supplier that had a deal on 3 originals for barely more than one generic.

I fitted that today and its a bit of a faff. I Undid the bottom vose connector then prised the rubber connectors out, you can then turn the unit around and get access to the two rear connectors. i managed the lower of those two and then brought the valve block around the back of the air strut still connected to that strut and could gain access to the remaining vose nut easily.

I need to wait over night but i did use the car after 3hrs and was a novelty that the height did not adjust at all.

the first time since i've owned the car 2 years!

Out of interest, where did you find the deal on the three valve blocks?
