Today is the day
After nearly 10 years running my much loved Disco 3 MY 07, today we change it for a run-out Disco 4 Landmark. It has been a good car but not free of needing a bit of TLC from time to time though is still a very good one, its just that if lingering to change then the only option comes settling for a secondhand vehicle or something else.
To haul our very heavy caravan and clobber over the distances we do there seems few alternatives from any marque and none promising that level of driving satisfaction I have had with this Disco 3.
Thought long and hard about the D5 even on the scanty info I was able to find, but felt unprepared to take on the in-use development for LR yet again as I did with an earlier production D3. So looking forward to many more years with the Disco 4, with all the enjoyment and plus that I have had with this particular 3.

Congrats on the new LR4. I contemplated the same about the D5 but truthfully don't love the specs I've seen including the rounded off design. I'll be picking up my LR4 HSE tomorrow! Can't wait.

It happened believe me; they have changed this beast since we brought our last one back in 2006.
